Come explore why it turns red

The lake is very interesting to many lovers because of its peculiar special shape and paranormal phenomenon about its color-changing water. The lake is is usually full with water all year-round. And while the color of water is dazzling blue in most months of the year, locals told us that its water turns red for a month or two around end of every year. Indians also cross the border to pray at the lake. It is mysterious why water in this lake turns to red around December or January. We'd like to invite explorers and scientific researchers to document this phenomenon.

Best Time to Visit

Reh Khaw Da town is a small border village, 65 miles away from Falam and 35 miles from Tiddim, where the Reh Lake (ရိဒ် ရေကန်) is located. Very much less known to the world, this is not visited by many tourists, due to its remote location. Needless to say, it would be most exciting time to explore this lake would be around December. Remember. It's freezing cold in this area at that time.
