info Located in Pyinmana, near the Paung Laung Dam, the Hlay Khwin Taung Pagoda (လှေခွင်းတောင်စေတီ) is one of the historical sites in this region.
Just 30 minutes drive from Naypyitaw, the capital city and on both sides of the straight road to the Pagoda in Hlay Khwin Taung, are the many teak trees and paddy fields. Although the Pagoda is on a 700 meter high hillock, the stairways are easy climbs up for the travelers.
