info The uniquely preserved building of Myanmar Port Authority (မြန်မာ့ဆိပ်ကမ်းအာဏာပိုင်ရုံး) was built in 1920.
It is a department of the Ministry of Transport which regulates and administer the ports of Myanmar. Unlike the building the Myanmar Port Authority which resides in it was founded much later in 1989, replacing the Burma Ports Corporation which was founded in 1972.
